Updated on May 30, 2011

SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE : Earning an income doing what you love..

Ok, so you've taken all these great photos, or you've been producing some great designs on Photoshop and everyone's ravin how great they are! But what now?

If you are not in a hurry to get rich (!) and enjoy the feeling you get when someone comments on your creations - and you ponder if you could make some money out of it, to pay for the materials or even time, for starters.

Here i hope to bring you some ideas and inspiration and hopefully even some motivation to get you to at LEAST try and see if your stuff are sellable. I will only 'teach' what i know and have tried.. and as i learn, and share - hopefully you too get to share the same feeling when you earn some money doing something you created (manifestation)

PLACES TO SELL YOUR ARTS - Recommended sites and community where you can sell your photos, creative arts and designs and much more.

Some sites you can upload your image, and make stuff from the products they offer, and sell them thru their marketplace, they handle the financial transaction, delivery, returns, etc

and some sites offer you a shopfront service, so you add details of what you have for sale (either elsewhere online or from your home)and you are responsible for payments, delivery of goods, etc..

Creating and making your art into something to sell, is just ONE of the things you've got to do, the other major and most important step, is Promoting yourself and/or the things you have made, to sell. Here i will add websites, tutorials and anything else of valued interest that will help you and me achieve some sales..

PROMOTING YOUR CREATIVE BUSINESS

Self-Promotion for the Creative Person: Get the Word Out About Who You Are and What You Do
Self-Promotion for the Creative Person: Get the Word Out About Who You Are and What You Do
It's called self-promotion for a reason: If you don't do it yourself, it usually doesn't get done! It's definitely a do-it-yourself proposition. It's an overwhelming proposition to make it big in the arts, and impossible if you don't take a proactive role in your promotion. This book will take the mystery out of marketing. It can't force you to embrace the concept, but it will teach you how to do it. It is the willingness (and ability) to market yourself and your art that increases your odds of making it. A lot of creative people have talent, but few have the know-how or desire to promote themselves.
